Amy Chen Therapy
Psychotherapy Practice
Helping you navigate changes in your life, health, and relationships more confidently and authentically.
Hi, I’m Amy!
I’m Amy Chen, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) based in Toronto, Ontario.
If you're feeling anxious, overwhelmed, and uncertain about how to manage life's up's and down's, you might wonder whether it's possible to find peace amidst life's changes and transitions.
Whether it's relationship issues, stress and anxiety, or coping with medical trauma, I walk you through the work of identifying patterns that are keeping you stuck, so you can finally live as your most authentic self.
I offer daytime, evening, and weekend online therapy appointments for adults living across Ontario.
I’m committed to creating an inclusive space for everyone to feel heard, understood, and accepted. I want you to know that it is possible to emerge on the other side of the difficulties you’re facing—feeling empowered and ready to make choices that are aligned with your values and the life you want to lead.

Psychotherapy Services
-
Individual Therapy
Do you consistently put your own needs at the bottom of the to-do list, wonder if life should somehow feel better, happier, or easier, or struggle with feeling disconnected from yourself and others?
In therapy, we’ll start by understanding where you are now and the challenges you’re facing. We’ll explore the barriers keeping you stuck, and put together a plan in place to help you move forward.
-
Life Transitions Therapy
Whether you are navigating life changes like switching jobs and careers, becoming a parent, or experiencing a loss, transitions and change hold potential for growth in your life.
In therapy, we’ll work together to identify the sources of pain that are keeping you from living a full life and help you reconcile and work through the difficult conflicts that are keeping you stuck.
-
Medical Trauma Therapy
If you’re navigating health issues such as cancer and other health diagnoses, chronic illness, or infertility, you need a space to process the complicated emotions and have someone walk alongside you in this very isolating journey.
In therapy, we’ll start to explore the complex emotions and talk through topics that may be difficult to discuss with loved ones—so you can go through this journey feeling a little more at peace.
